What a turn around over the last couple of seasons it has been for the Baltimore Orioles. Years of accumulating top draft picks for several years fast-forwarding to today as they sit atop of the American League East division once again for the second straight season. It has certainly been a year of up and downs but the talent level of the young superstars on this roster in the making has overshadowed any level of doubt for this organization’s promising future. As incredible as they are performing in the new era of young phenom stars, it is never an inopportune time to reminisce on the past of the Baltimore Orioles and some of the amazing moments in the organization’s history. Let’s turn the clock back to a late 90s classic in mid-May against the Seattle Mariners as FOCO commemorates Chris Hoiles’ ultimate grand slam to give the Baltimore Orioles the win with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning with their very own Chris Hoiles Baltimore Orioles 1996 Walk Off Grand Slam Bobblehead. This bobblehead portrays Hoiles wearing his white gameday uniform in a hitting action pose, having just smacked the deciding blow. Hoiles is standing in a swinging action pose as he launches his walk-off grand slam over the wall to seal the win for the O’s. It was undeniably one of the greatest moments in team history.
In addition, FOCO will also be releasing their very own Jim Palmer Baltimore Orioles No Hitter Bobblehead. This was the first and only no hitter of his career as he pummeled the Oakland Athletics. This bobble portrays Palmer wearing his white gameday uniform in a pitching action pose ready to shut down every hitter that steps to the plate.
