Tourists Own Opening Day, 8-3

The Delmarva Shorebirds fell behind early, and the late-inning efforts fell short in the regular season opener, 8-3 to Asheville. The Tourists coasted after scoring eight runs in the first five innings. With the disappointing Opening Day, Delmarva loses their season opener for the first time in four years.
