Happy Staturday Birdland! It was an up-and-down week but fear not, our Orioles still put up some pretty cool stats!
Last night Mark Trumbo blasted a walk-off home run to beat the Diamondbacks… and it was glorious.
Mark Trumbo’s walk-off home run was his fifth of his career and his first since April 21st, 2013.
Trey Mancini got off to a pretty special start to his career:
Trey Mancini became the first Oriole to hit a home run in each of the first the first two starts of his career.
Similarly, Donnie Hart has pitched very well for a rookie:
Donnie Hart started his career with eighteen run-less appearances – the longest streak to start a career & second longest streak to start a season, in Orioles history.
Have a great weekend, Birdland. Let’s Go Os! To see more stats like this, give @BirdlandStats a follow on Twitter.
