Seven-Run Inning Lifts Shorebirds to 10-4 Win

The Delmarva Shorebirds (21-24) scored seven runs in the fourth inning to cruise past the Greensboro Grasshoppers (18-25), 10-4, in game one of the series at New Bridge Bank Park on Thursday night. Rain started coming down in the top of the ninth inning and the teams were removed from the field with two outs in the inning. The game never resumed.
