Today on the show we open up about our interview process. We’ll tell you why there is a difference between our interview yesterday with Andrew Triggs compared to previous interviews as well as future interviews like our sit down with Alex Murphy you will hear tomorrow. We also give some more of our impressions of the Orioles now that we have seen a second game, this time in Ft., Myers against the Red Sox.
Leading Off
Thanks to the Red Sox stadium in Fort Myers for having free sunscreen for patrons. Life saver. So, to be honest, we weren’t really supposed to be interviewing Andrew Triggs yesterday. Though we certainly appreciate it, we were excited to talk to an Orioles legend, but unfortunately that fell through. So we have a pretty good excuse for sounding a tad unprepared yesterday…
O’s at Red Sox
We went to watch the Orioles play in Fort Myers, and saw all the Boston players we hate. Hyun-soo Kim still doesn’t have a hit, so how worried are we? On the bright side, his defense doesn’t look too bad.
Who stood out offensively for the Birds on Sunday? Why is everyone (except Nolan Reimold) swinging at crap in the dirt? We saw Dylan Bundy on the mound for an inning. He faced and retired three batters, allowing only a soft line drive to go with two strikeouts. Matt was very impressed.
How about Jet Blue Park AKA Fenway South?
Around the Horn
Should we be concerned about our backup infielders? Paul Janish & Steve Tolleson don’t inspire much confidence.
We have now been to five spring training games over the last two seasons, and have yet to see another win. This after we were 4-0 in 2014.
Monday we’ll watch Ubaldo take the hill. We’ll talk to you guys about that tomorrow.
