Reading Time: 2 minutes

Here we are again, boys. There is almost too much Orioles news to fit into one show today. First-year player draft, the returns of Wieters and Reimold, Big Bad Bud is back for at least one game, and more.

Leading Off – Draft Talk

How pumped are you about the O’s draft picks? Matt is really excited, but Josh looks at the O’s 1st-round history – and 1st round history in general – and can’t get that worked up. Bert has NEVER HEARD of a single guy drafted – and he’s OK with that. That’s why the MLB draft will never be the event they’re trying to make it. Josh ticks off O’s 1st-rounders from recent years, so you may want to avert your ears.

Wieters is Back

Matt Wieters has hit well in his return, which is a nice surprise after the guys watched him go hitless in Spring Training. Bert thinks O’s fans may just crap on Wieters as a coping mechanism, preparing ourselves for the inevitable – that he’ll be gone next year.

Time to Sell?

There has been a lot of talk about the Orioles selling, but there are plenty of reasons why that might not be a good idea. The guys discuss expanded playoffs, being good every year and hoping to get hot, and more.

#VoteRoyals

Matt is ready to vote for every Kansas City Royal to force MLB to change their stupid All-Star Voting rules. The game should mean NOTHING!

Big Bad Bud/#REIMTIME

Bud Norris returned and went five strong innings, which brightened Bert’s season immediately. On top of that, he helped the Birds take the series in Cleveland. Nolan Reimold returned to the lineup after hitting the ball well in AAA, and the O’s hope he can help spark their struggling offense. The leash is short! So watch out Travis Snider, David Lough, and yes, even Reimold.

ERod Makes Us Look Bad

The O’s finally develop a young, top-of-the-rotation starter…but he plays for someone else. The minute Eduardo Rodriguez was traded, he started pitching better. Just bad luck?

Bert’s Zany But True Storytime

Bert has some more “Believe it or not” MLB stories this week, including a spooky brothers story, a guy who was injured by biting himself in the rear, and an outfielder having an amazing inning.

Ball Bag

Are the Orioles bad at social media? What’s wrong with Steve Pearce? Should MLB increase the nets around the lower bowl?
