Happy Father’s Day! O’s talk, Matt heads to Africa, Bert’s Story Time returns this week.

Leading Off

It’s a special Sunday night edition of Section 336. It’s Father’s Day, and Matt will be in Africa for the next two months! Bon Voyage, Matt.

The show must go on though, so we’re trying to find folks to fill in for Matt in our Anybody Can Podcast contest. The deadline is June 30 – submit a 3-5 minute audio recording of yourself talking about Baltimore sports to se***************@gm***.com.

O’s Talk

The guys are a bit confused about who got beat around against the Jays on Friday (it was Mike Wright). Regardless, the O’s won the other two games of the series.

Yovani Gallardo being even mediocre – which he was on Saturday – is a huge lift for this team, with dumpster fires Wright and Ubaldo Jimenez as other options. Tyler Wilson’s start against Boston was huge, but can he back it up?

Bert’s Story Time

It’s back! Bert has a great Father’s Day story – the Rode family put together an impromptu takeover of Section 368, but got a pretty awesome upgrade thanks to a friendly usher.

But that’s not all! It’s a double dose of Story Time, as Bert also met Joe Orsulak recently. Smokin’ Joe O!

Father’s Day

On Father’s Day, we talk about our dads and how they influenced our love of baseball.

Predictions for August 8, 2016

Matt will be completely 100% off the grid for two months, so what will he miss? He tells us what he thinks will happen between now and August 8, when he gets back on the grid.

Silent Intern

There WAS an intern…and we could hear him. Not sure why his voice didn’t record – sorry about that!
