Was the series over the weekend in Anaheim this Orioles team in an nutshell? Pretty good pitching, lots of home runs, and a total stinker every few days.

Bert isn’t impressed with Ubaldo Jimenez lately. He went 8.0 innings and gave up just two earned runs on May 7 – that’s great! In three starts since then…awwwwwwwful.

Matusz Talk

Matt’s boy got traded. He cried himself to sleep. Let’s talk about it. The players they got in the deal don’t have bad minor league numbers, but they’re not top prospects. Still, perhaps Alan Mills can make effective relievers out of them.

The O’s have a DH problem…again. Pedro Alvarez is batting .191 (though he homered on Tuesday after this was recorded). When do we give up on him? Should Trumbo DH to make room for Reimold or Kim to play more?
