Today on the show, thoughts from Bert on pink uniforms and Manny playing shortstop, thoughts from Josh on starting pitching, and thoughts from Matt on why both of them are wrong.

Leading Off

Plan to meet us at Buffalo Wild Wings on May 24, at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Annapolis. Win great BWW prizes and O’s tix!

Potty talk…literally.

Also, Night at the Yard is this Friday. Tweet @JoshSroka if you didn’t get your tickets in time but still want them.

O’s Talk

Why would you mess with Manny Machado, who just won the AL Player of the Month for April, by moving him to shortstop? Do we agree with the move?

Adam Jones is struggling (or was until we recorded this), so shouldn’t Buck move him around in the order? And is this the beginning of the end, or just an extended slump?

The starting pitching has been much better of late. Who is the Orioles’ best starter right now?

Bert loves him some Mark Trumbo.

The Tigers and Mariners come to town after the Twins series ends on Wednesday, then the O’s head to Anaheim. This is a good point in the schedule for the O’s to rack up some wins before the AL East-heavy June.

What did our aesthetics expert Bert think of the Mother’s Day uniforms?

Matt’s Leaving (Soon)

Matt is going to Africa for a couple months this summer. To follow his journey, check out mattandemilyinafrica.blogspot.com.

We’ll do a special Africa episode before Matt leaves. He almost died on several instances his last time there, so hopefully things are a bit less dramatic this time.

Ball Bag

(Thanks listeners!)

In the NFL, they have something called “color rush” uniforms. Should MLB do this? What would the O’s wear?

When is it appropriate to start voting for the All-Star game? And should we vote for only Orioles?

Flacco-to-Flacco – will it happen this year? Mike Flacco, tight end, was signed by the Ravens.
