Last year, Oriole Park at Camden Yards added to the fan (stomach) experience by opening Dempsey’s Brew Pub and Restaurant, Stuggy’s, and the Roof Top Deck, complete with Flying Dog Firkin Fridays.
While a Natty Boh and an Esskay Frank or BBQ sandwich from Boog’s certainly have their place – especially for the traditionalist – having the option to get a Crab Mac ‘n Cheese Dog from Stuggy’s to pair with a Flying Dog Underdog Atlantic Lager only makes me that much more excited to get down to the Yard.
This year, the Birds are going a few steps further, with even more new food options.
The most exciting of these, which has Twitter abuzz this morning, are the crab waffle fries. According to the Baltimore Sun, you can get the fries at the french fry kiosk and on the upper level behind home plate.
Waffle fries smothered in crab dip? Yes please.
Other new additions include:
Korean Tacos
Pad Thai cold noodles
The Triple Crown, a hot dog covered in pulled pork and bacon on a stick (off the stick)
And several new dishes at Dempsey’s
