As it seems all athletes do nowadays when leaving a team they’ve been with for a long time, Nick Markakis took out an ad in the newspaper thanking ownership, coaches, teammates, fans and even stadium workers. In a two-pager in today’s Baltimore Sun, the Markakises (Nick, Christina, Taylor, & Toby) say thanks to Birdland.
Very classy.
