On Wednesday night, Albert Pujols was the victim of another crazy defensive play by Manny Machado.
In the 11th inning of a 0-0 ballgame on Thursday night, Manny did it to Albert, AGAIN.
On nearly the same exact play (I promise, this isn’t a replay), Machado this time learned from his play last night – where he threw off-balance – and remembered that Pujols is probably the slowest position player in the major leagues, and gave himself time to compose himself, plant, and throw.
The kid is unreal.
