Well, we wouldn’t have been surprised if you told us we were going to be getting some Hunter Harvey news as the trade deadline approached.
It just wasn’t THIS kind of news we were expecting.
Duquette said Hunter Harvey is out for year w elbow strain and inflammation. Rest not surgery.

The O’s 2013 first-round draft pick (22nd overall), whose name was floating around in trade rumors all month, had been putting up very good numbers for Single-A Delmarva (3.18 ERA, 106 K/33 BB in 87.2 IP), but is now done for the year.
Hopefully the team is just being overly cautious and Harvey will not need Tommy John Surgery in the near future, but…come on. Do any of us really think this will end up without Hunter going under the knife? Just schedule it now…
