In their quest to win back-to-back American League East division titles, the Baltimore Orioles do not appear to be the team that finished 30 games over .500 last season. Just fewer than 50 games into the season, the Orioles are three games under .500, but only trail the division-leading Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees by two games.

The Orioles had a chance to cut into the lead over this past weekend, but lost two out of three to the Rays. Entering June, the Orioles will start the month with seven straight road games before returning to Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

With the new month set to begin, let’s analyze the average ticket prices for Orioles tickets on the secondary market for the month of June, according to SeatSmart.com.

Most Expensive: 6/25/2015 | Boston Red Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles | Fenway Park | Average Price: $96.51 | Get-in Price: $31

Although the two AL East rivals have been inconsistent in the early going, Baltimore’s trip to Fenway Park represents the most expensive Orioles tickets of the month. The Red Sox are in last place of the division and have stumbled to a 22-29 mark, but are certainly capable of making a run, which is why this series could be critical. The Orioles should be looking to register a good amount of runs on the scoreboard throughout the series, as Boston ranks towards the bottom of the league in pitching with their underwhelming starting rotation.

6/21/2015 | Toronto Blue Jays vs. Baltimore Orioles | Rogers Centre | Average Price: $87.62 | Get-in Price: $9

Another division opponent appears second on the list, as Baltimore travels across the border to take on the Blue Jays. The Orioles and Blue Jays are separated by 1.5 games in the standings, but this game takes part in the latter half of the month and that will surely change. The Blue Jays are 14-12 at Rogers Centre this season, which easily bests their 9-17 road record. The Orioles are only 8-14 on the road, so taking a series in Toronto would be a great mental boost for the club.

Least Expensive: 6/7/2015 | Cleveland Indians vs. Baltimore Orioles | Progressive Field | Average Price: $37 | Get-in Price: $8

Although the Indians are two games below .500 and sit in fourth place in the American League Central, they have been playing well as of late, going 7-3 in their last ten ballgames. After struggling in the beginning of the season, last season’s AL Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber has won three of his last four starts, recording a incredible number of strikeouts over that span. Baltimore certainly hopes to dodge him when the two clubs meet in about a week.

6/29/2015 | Baltimore Orioles vs. Texas Rangers | Oriole Park At Camden Yards | Average Price: $38 | Get-in Price: $3

The only home game on the list is the second-least expensive ticket in the month, when the suddenly hot Texas Rangers come to Baltimore. The Rangers have picked up their play since the much-talked about return of Josh Hamilton, who ironically had previously played his last game with Texas against these Orioles in the 2012 AL Wild Card game. While he was largely ineffective in that particular contest, Hamilton has been the opposite since his return, smacking two homers in a game last week, and delivering a game-winning two-out, two-run double in the bottom of the ninth of a game over the weekend. As a result of their improved play, and the return of Hamilton, tickets for the Texas Rangers have been picking up steam over the past couple of weeks.
