The Delmarva Shorebirds soundly defeated the Hagerstown Suns on Friday evening, by the final score of 8-3 in the series opener. Delmarva (54-44, 16-13) rode a strong pitching performance from their ace Hunter Harvey and contributions from up and down the lineup.
