Finally, O’s fans can start to make some concrete plans for the ALDS games. We knew the opponent yesterday, as the Tigers locked up the AL Central, but the start times of the games (especially the games this Thursday and Friday at OPACY) were weighing on all of our minds as we try to make plans to take off work, line up babysitters, or whatever else we need to do to put our Birds in a row.
At long last, MLB announced the start times this evening, and they all depend on Wild Card game outcomes. Here they are:
Thursday, October 2 5:37 PM if Kansas City wins the Wild Card Game, 6:07 if Oakland wins
Friday, October 3 12:07 if San Fran wins the NL Wild Card Game, 3:07 if Pittsburgh wins
Sunday, October 5 (in Detroit) 3:45 PM
Monday, October 6 (in Detroit, if necessary) – still unknown
Wednesday, October 8 (in Baltimore, if necessary) – still unknown
The O’s better get their day game act together here quickly.
