The O’s limp home after a brutal 1-6 road trip that saw them lose all six games by exactly one run. Their margin for error right now is very slim with the awful pitching throughout the game, and they just haven’t been able to figure out a way to get it done. Nine of their next 12 are at Camden Yards, where they’re a sparkling 13-3, so hopefully home cookin’ is the cure for what ails them.

Bob Harkins of Baltimore Sports and Life is the latest to examine Jonathan Schoop’s hot start. He took quite an interesting approach, looking at how often Schoop swings not just overall, but in traditional hitter’s counts. This was in an attempt to try to figure out why, even though Jon is being more selective overall, he still never walks.

Bundy, Orioles Blow Early Lead to Drop Series in Detroit

Dylan became the latest O’s pitcher to be handed a lead only to immediately crap it away, proving that nobody is immune.

Sigh. To some home cookin’, Birdland!
