Today on the show Section 336 hits harder than Von Miller hitting a dabbing Cam Newton as we bring you all the Baltimore sports news from the last week which unfortunately includes the Orioles jacking up ticket prices (Thanks a lot Chris Davis) and Delmon Young apparently jacks up his valet and threatens to jack up a police officer. But there was good news for the Orioles too as they traded for a so-called pitcher… and I can’t wait to hear Josh try to pronounce his name.

Leading Off
We are joined tonight by Derek Arnold of Eutaw Street Report and Russell Street Report. Our conversation starts with discussing what noted terrible person and Baltimore sports hero Delmon Young has been up to…and it’s not good.
Orioles Talk
The Orioles traded for Odrisamer Despaigne. So, what’s up with this guy? Who will he be competing for the 5th starter’s spot with? He throw a cutter, so that’s a problem…
Derek is mad that the O’s didn’t pursue Mat Latos, especially for one year and $3 million. Alfredo Simon, Jeremy Guthrie, A.J. Burnett, Cliff Lee, Tim Lincecum, and others are still available. Should the Orioles get any of them?
The Orioles are all about sons of former players, picking up Rafael Palmeiro’s son most recently. Where’s Ryan Ripken these days?
The Orioles raised ticket prices for 2016. Thoughts?
Super Bowl
The Broncos beat the Panthers in the Super Bowl, Peyton Manning is going to drink a lot of Budweiser, and Cam Newton throws really hard.
The Sobotka family made it into a Super Bowl commercial.
The halftime show was awful.
NEW SEGMENT! Baltimore Sports in Pop Culture
Bert has a zany new segment this week. What Baltimore sports references have been made in pop culture? Bert scours the old TV shows, movies, and more.
Terps Talk
The Terps played Bowie State tonight for some reason. They’re ranked number two, but they sure play a lot of close games. Will that experience help them come tournament time?
Melo Trimble is fun to watch. Diamond Stone keeps getting better.
Ball Bag
The Nationals say that the Orioles are the reason they can’t sign players. Huh?
The Blue Jays are adding real dirt to their infield. Will this help the O’s?
The Orioles have to get rid of 18,000 tons of snow before Opening Day. Any ideas on how to help?
