All of these plays, amazingly, occurred in just one inning of the Orioles’ 5-2 win over the Boston Red Sox at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Wednesday night.
Leading off the inning, Xander Bogaerts lined one over Adam Jones’ head in center. He thought he had a double, of course, but he was wrong.
Next, Pablo Sandoval lined one to left against the shift. He too, thought he had a double. Travis Snider, however, had other ideas.
Finally, Mookie Betts laced one to right-center. Mr. Jones was there.
