On Wednesday night, Miguel Gonzalez tossed his first career shutout and first career complete game against the Cincinnati Reds, as the O’s won 6-0 to take the series with the chance to sweep on Thursday. O’s fans were left wondering if we’d see the “return of the pie” that had been mysteriously absent from post-game interviews of late.
We didn’t have to wait long, and Miguel had one of the best reactions ever when he saw Jonesy with the “strawberry” something ready for him.

Gary Thorne lost it, giggling like a school girl. Mike Bordick asked the next question, so I can’t help but imagine Thorne doubled over in laughter with his hand over his microphone as Bordy tried to keep some semblance of professionalism in that booth.
