Yes, 900-year-old David Ortiz is somehow a huge part of that, mashing two home runs in one game off Tampa Bay ace David Price in the ALDS.
And yes, we’re all resigned to cheering for the Detroit Tigers in the ALCS. While they’re not much more likable as a group then those dirty bearded scrubs from Beantown, at least you don’t see their “fans” at OPACY in pink hats nearly a dozen times a year.
