Touted as the most complete pitching prospect in a generation coming out of high school, drafted fourth overall by the Orioles in 2011, making his MLB debut in September of 2012, but then unfortunately shelved for three seasons due to injuries, Dylan Bundy looks to have finally arrived.
And not only has he arrived, but he has wasted no time in announcing himself as one of the elite young talents in baseball. Still only 23-years-old, Bundy has O’s fans dusting off those visions of the Ace he could become, visions that had been shelved only a short time ago.
Bundy’s last four starts: 23.2 IP, 12 H, 5 ER, 29 K, 3 BB. He’s flirted with no-hitters and/or perfect games through the first half of a game on several instances. Though he’s still getting his arm stretched out, there is no denying that he looks like the real deal. His power fastball, superb change-up, and absolutely devastating curveball have made major-league hitters look silly in a way no O’s starting pitcher has since the days of Mike Mussina.
Birdland has taken to calling him “Dealin'” Bundy. And now, thanks to our friends at Breaking T, you can show your support of Dealin’ Bundy with this awesome new, MLBPA-approved, t-shirt.
We’ve partnered with Breaking T in the past (check out their Great Britton shirt here), so we know that their shirts are high-quality, very comfortable, and look great. Our usual disclaimer goes as follows: if you’re deciding between two sizes, though the 60/40 cotton/poly blend doesn’t shrink much (and feels great), go with the larger of the two.
Get your Dealin’ Bundy shirt here, and let’s all sit back and hopefully continue to enjoy as Dylan grows into his enormous potential before our eyes.
