Former shortstop, coach, broadcaster, and 2011 Orioles Hall of Fame inductee Mike Bordick joins the podcast this week. We discuss the heartbreaking 1997 ALCS and Bordick shares an interesting conversation he later had with then-Indians manager Mike Hargrove. We also talk about the 2000 trade deadline and Bordick’s return as a free agent the following off-season, the Orioles infield defense and excess of talent coming up through the system, and how the club might improve moving forward. Of course, we also asked Bordick how his former broadcast partner Gary Thorne is doing. All that and more in Episode 22.
