Section 336 Episode 91 – Sroka Boys

This week, Bert is out, the World’s Worst Intern bailed, and it’s just Matt and Josh – The Sroka Boys – talking Baltimore sports. Let’s get to it, shall we?

 

Leading Off

Last week after our show at Buffalo Wild Wings, Matt got confused about which bathroom was which. Moments later, the Intern did the same exact thing.

Speaking of bathrooms, Matt wonders if TVs at urinals are contributing to the downfall of society, though he admits that he enjoys them. Bert is gonna be upset that he missed all this toilet talk.

 

Ravens Win in Miami

The Ravens got off to a slow start, but dominated the final 2.5 quarters or so to pull off a huge win against the Dolphins to keep their playoff hopes very much alive. They win out, they’re in.

Matt and Josh list their five takeaways from the game.

 

This Weekend

The Ravens take on the lowly, 2-11 Jacksonville Jaguars in Baltimore this Sunday. A loss would be absolutely catastrophic, so let’s hope that the team is all business and gets the job done.

The Jags have beaten the Browns and the Giants, lost to the Titans by 2, the Bengals by 10, and gotten blown out in every other game. There is no excuse to lose this game. Still, every week in today’s NFL, there is at least one game that makes you say “HUH?!” Hopefully the Ravens are not involved in that game this week.

 

Let’s Talk…Bas…ketball?!

Josh is tuning in to Terps basketball games again. Mark Turgeon’s squad is 8-1 and is currently ranked #19 in the country.

Former high school basketball coach Matt explains why this year’s team is head and shoulders above the last several Terps basketball teams, with freshman Melo Trimble leading the way as point guard. He says it’s the perfect time to jump on the Terps bandwagon for any fans that have lost touch since Gary Williams left.
