It’s time once again for the “MASN Cup” (or “The Battle of the Beltways,” if you prefer) as the Orioles head down I-95 to take on the Nats for two games at Nationals Park before the Nats return the favor for two at OPACY.

Both teams are once again at or near the top of their respective divisions, so we should be in for some good, quality baseball here in the Mid-Atlantic this week.

The O’s have faced Strasburg just once, scoring a single run off him in 5.0 IP.

Werth is hitting .450 with 2 HR and 9 RBI over the past week.

Adam Jones and Steve Pearce were named co-AL Players of the Week. Jones has hit in 10 straight and 16 of 17. Over the last 10, he’s 17-for-35 with 2 HR and 6 RBI.  Pearce cooled off in Boston, going just 3-for-15, but was 10-for-24 with 4 doubles, 3 HR, and 9 RBI in the previous six games.
